Health Care Reform: Orszag Back on the Trial

In today’s Bloomberg is an article on Peter Orszag Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and his passion for reforming the healthcare system by the government causing efficiencies in the system thereby reducing costs. He is spending countless hours educating senators on the numbers and how health care reform can be revenue neutral to the government.

Also, Senator Baucus is on record that the healthcare reform package will have a public option for health insurance similar to Medicare and Medicaid.

They predict the real action for the bill starts in early June, and will reach the 20 mile mark (1/2 way point for effort in a marathon), by late July or early August…
