Biography
Thomas Sullivan is President of Rockpointe Corporation. Founded in 1995 to provide continuing medical education to physicians around the world, Rockpointe, and its ACCME-accredited subsidiary, Potomac Center for Medical Education (PCME), are among the nation’s leading medical education companies.
Mr. Sullivan is the editor of the popular website Policy and Medicine, (www.policymed.com) which covers regulatory issues affecting the pharmaceutical and device industry. The site provides detailed analysis of many important compliance issues, and is one of the leading resources for information on the Physician Payments Sunshine Act.
Policy and Medicine has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN.com., and ABC News.
Tom is also one of the founders of the Association of Clinical Researchers and Educators, a non-profit education foundation dedicated to showing the value of industry-physician relationships.
Prior to founding Rockpointe, Mr. Sullivan was an award winning television producer and political consultant. His clients included the National Republican Congressional Committee, Campaigns for Congress, Governor and US Senate. He started out working on Capitol Hill and in the Florida Legislature.
Tom started life in an anything is possible community, near the Kennedy Space Center whose father was one of the creators and coordinator of the radar systems for the Lunar Module (LEM) on the Apollo Missions.
