Webinar on EFPIA Disclosure Tomorrow, June 12

On June 30, 2016, pharmaceutical companies across Europe started to disclose their financial interactions with health care professionals in compliance with the guiding principles of the EFPIA disclosure code. There are several things complicating the EFPIA requirements, including privacy laws in some countries that require consent given by the HCP for individual disclosure.

Parties interested in learning more about the EFPIA disclosure code and requirements can participate in a webinar, hosted by King & Spalding, Policy and Medicine, and Qordata, scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at 12:00 pm noon EDT.

Attendees will receive an overview of compliance, transparency, and anti-corruption requirements in the European Union; insights into practices and strategies of pharmaceutical companies in EU countries for managing transparency and disclosure reporting; and hypothetical scenarios that highlight the real world application of these requirements.

Speakers for the webinar include Ulf F. Grundmann, partner at King & Spalding’s Life Science Practice Group in Germany; Elisabeth Kohoutek, associate and member of the King & Spalding FDA & Life Sciences Practice in Frankfurt; Thomas Sullivan, chief editor at Policy and Medicine and President/Founder of Rockpointe Corporation; and Ned Mumtaz, Practice Director for Pharmaceutical Services at qordata.

The webinar promises to provide helpful information for employees at all levels of pharmaceutical companies, from head of compliance and senior counsel to IT and Commercial Operations/Marketing.
