Webinar: Understanding Proposed Changes to the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support

On Thursday, January 23rd at 1pm ET the CME Coalition is hosting a live webinar on the proposed changes to the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support.

According to the ACCME the goals of updating “The ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education (renamed in the proposal from the Standards Commercial Support: Standards to Ensure Independence in CME Activities℠) are designed to create a clear, unbridgeable separation between accredited education and industry marketing and to ensure that accredited continuing Education serves the needs of patients and the public.”

On January 7th, the ACCME released their proposed update to the Standards for Commercial Support.  Comments to the ACCME are due February 21, 2019.  The CME Coalition has been engaging experts to provide you with the most up to date analysis of the proposed changes.

This one-hour live webinar will feature faculty including:

Michael Lemon, CEO of PIM; and

Jan Schultz, CME Consultant.

At this webinar we will be discussing the changes to ACCME proposed new standards. You will have the opportunity to ask your questions to experienced CME professionals.
