Manufacturers No Longer Need to Complete Connecticut APRN Expenditure Disclosure Form

Manufacturers no longer need to complete an APRN Expenditure Disclosure form in the state of Connecticut, due to the preemption of state law by the 2020 change to Open Payments.

Previously, manufacturers who were subject to the provisions of Connecticut General Statutes 21a-70f needed to submit expenditure disclosure forms for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) directly to the state of Connecticut.

However, as of June 27, 2022, manufacturers who have submitted the information required in the state statute to the federal program will satisfy the statute requirements and additional documentation directly to the state of Connecticut is not necessary. The state does still recommend, however, submitting and maintaining a record of the submission to the federal program along with proof that the request was completed.
