This afternoon the Senate will be holding 8+ hours of debate on amendments offered by the Republicans to the House Reconciliation package. The Democrats have yielded all their time to the republicans, sometime later today (7pm or so) the Senate will take up amendments to the bill. After the amendments are voted on the Senate will vote on the final bill, which should be sometime before the end of the week.

In addition to these amendments there are several procedural motions that will be made:
- Crapo motion to commit the bill to the Committee on Finance with instructions to report legislation that shall not result in an increase in Federal tax liability for any individual with adjusted gross income of less than $200,000 or any married couple with adjusted gross income of less than $250,000.
- Enzi motion to commit regarding employer mandates
- Barrasso amendment to require the Secretary of HHS certify health insurance premiums won't increase as a result of the legislation.
