HHS-OIG: Listing of Pharmaceutical and Device Corporate Integrity Agreements 2014

0 1,942

In addition to analysis of major settlements and corporate integrity agreements, each year we update the listing of important corporate integrity agreements.

Below is a list in alphabetic order of the major pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer corporate integrity agreements (CIAs) entered into with the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).  A CIA is a document that outlines the obligations an entity agrees to as part of a civil settlement. An entity agrees to the CIA obligations in exchange for the OIG’s agreement that it won’t seek to exclude the entity from participation in Medicare or Medicaid. Most CIAs are typically for five (5) years, so the close date will be approximately five years from the start date, unless the manufacturer has violated the terms of its CIA or entered into a second or third CIA.
